Mass Effect

I sat down to finally play Mass Effect. 

 The game appeals to me on several levels: Style, Depth in particular.

The style is very clean, Science Fiction, reminiscent of the cover art of a lot of science fiction novels.  It feels a bit like Star trek, but a bit less naive.  It stands out from other science fiction shooters out there.

In fact the game isn’t really a shooter at all, it’s a living story, that you can explore.  Several hours into the game the depth is staggering, there seems to be back ground info on everything.  I think i’m going to be playing this for a while.  I am amazed at the sheer volume of information available in this game.
